Ben Kensell departs Hibernian FC
Ben Kensell has left his role as Chief Executive Officer at Hibernian FC after more than three and a half years. Under his leadership, the club saw significant commercial growth, infrastructure improvements, and the introduction of Black Knight Football Group as an investor. Kensell, who previously held senior positions at Norwich City FC and Charlton Athletic FC, expressed pride in the club’s transformation during his tenure and leaves with confidence in its future direction.

Donata Hopfen joins Hellas Verona FC
Donata Hopfen has been appointed as a non-executive board member at Hellas Verona FC. She takes on this role alongside other key figures and Presidio Investors, aiming to support the Serie A club’s strategic development. Hopfen continues to serve as a Non-Executive Director and Special Advisor at DMGT plc, bringing extensive leadership experience to her new advisory role.

Jesús Arroyo joins Saudi Pro League
Jesús Arroyo has been appointed to the leadership team of the Saudi Pro League, bringing over 18 years of experience in professional football. Previously Deputy CEO and Head of Legal & Football Administration at Sevilla FC, Arroyo has also served on La Liga’s Executive Board and as a Judge on FIFA’s Football Tribunal. In his new role, he will contribute to the league’s development in competitions, operations, and club growth, supporting Saudi football’s long-term vision.

Mike Bohndiek departs Arsenal FC for Cortex
Mike Bohndiek has left his role as Technology Director at Arsenal FC to become the Managing Director at Cortex. During his tenure at Arsenal, he led a comprehensive digital transformation program, driving innovation in the club’s technological infrastructure. At Cortex, Bohndiek will now focus on refining the company’s products and expanding its presence in the sports technology sector.

Fabio Santoro appointed Managing Director of Lega Pro (Serie C)
Fabio Santoro has taken on the role of Managing Director at Lega Pro, the governing body of Italy’s Serie C. Santoro brings extensive experience in football administration, having previously served as Chief Business Officer at the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and as Marketing and Audiovisual Rights Director at Serie A. With a career spanning key roles in Italian football, Santoro now steps into this leadership position at Lega Pro, overseeing strategic and commercial operations for the league.

Ian Taylor to leave West Ham United FC
Ian Taylor will depart from his role as Head of Communications at West Ham United FC in mid-February after nearly three years with the club. With a strong background in sports communications, Taylor previously served as Marketing & Communications Director at London Irish Rugby Club and held key roles at QPR FC and Team INEOS. He is now open to new opportunities in communications, media relations, and PR.

Anton Farber becomes new Owner of FC Pyunik, Suren Baghdasaryan named Vice President
Anton Farber has taken over as the new Owner of FC Pyunik following the departure of Artur Soghomonyan as President at the end of the year. Farber is the Co-Founder of Authentic.Football and has been a FIFA Match Agent since 2014. Additionally, Suren Baghdasaryan has been appointed as the club’s new Vice President.

Federico Cherubini appointed at Parma Calcio
Parma Calcio has announced Federico Cherubini as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer. Cherubini, who previously held key leadership roles at Juventus, brings extensive experience in strategic planning, talent development, and club operations. He will oversee various aspects of the club, including the men’s and women’s first teams, youth development, and commercial ventures. His appointment follows the departure of Luca Martines, to whom the club expressed its gratitude. Cherubini will officially assume his new role on January 27, 2025.
