As of today, entries for the FBIN Marketing Excellence Awards are accepted. Submissions for seven categories are possible.
The inaugural FBIN Awards were presented at the FBIN Commercial Excellence Summit presented by Opta by Stats Perform in Budapest. During the Welcome Evening on 18 March, the Commercial Excellence Awards in five categories were presented to Club Brugge, Relo Metrics and Bob Madou.
The submission phase for the Marketing Excellence Awards is now open, with seven categories available:
- Creative Content Format
- Best Fan Experience Case
- Outstanding Marketing Campaign
- Best Fan Engagement Initiative
- Best Rebranding
- Best Tool or Service
- Marketing Excellence Leader
Please note that the first five categories – Creative Content Format, Best Fan Experience Case, Outstanding Marketing Campaign, Best Fan Engagement Initiative and Best Rebranding – are awarded to rights holders.
The Best Tool or Service category is open to companies active in the football industry. The Marketing Excellence Leader award recognises an individual who has made a significant impact on their club, league or association through visionary leadership and innovation.
This is the timetable for the Marketing Excellence Awards:
- Submission Opens: 1 April, 2025
- Submission Deadline: 6 May, 2025
- Shortlist Announcement: 20 May, 2025
- Award Ceremony: 3 June 2025, as part of the Networking Evening at the FBIN Marketing Excellence & Next-Gen Stadium Summit in Prague
The three shortlisted nominees in each category are invited to the award ceremony and the entire Marketing Excellence & Next-Gen Stadium Summit presented by Opta by Stats Perform on June 3 and 4.
The jury for the FBIN Marketing Excellence Awards will be announced in due course.
