Antoine Roex to depart Standard de Liège and launch Venyx
Antoine Roex will leave his role at Standard de Liège after three years with the club, where he worked across digital transformation projects including ticketing, CRM, merchandising and customer experience platforms. He is co launching Venyx, a consulting firm focused on digital, data and revenue strategy for organisations in the sports and entertainment industry.

Elizabeth Thibodeau joins Charlotte FC
Elizabeth Thibodeau has joined Charlotte FC as Head of Marketing. She previously served as Vice President, Brand Partnerships & Go to Market Strategy at Home Solutions and is also a Board Member at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Phillips Pet Food & Supplies and Red Ventures.

Ramón Loarte to depart Burgos CF
Ramón Loarte has concluded his role as Chief Executive Officer of Burgos CF after three months in the position. He previously served as Founder and CEO of Altrian Global Sports and spent over seven years at Sevilla FC as Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer.

Holger Boyne to depart VfB Stuttgart
Holger Boyne will leave his role as Director Communications & Media at VfB Stuttgart after the current season. He has led the club’s communications since 2024 and previously served as Head of Digital at Eintracht Frankfurt for over six years. In addition, he is a member of the Club Media Commission at DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga and serves as Mentor in the UEFA Academy AAA Mentorship Programme.

Tobias Kaufmann returns to VfB Stuttgart in expanded role
Tobias Kaufmann will return to VfB Stuttgart as Director Communication & Media in an expanded role, effective 1 July, taking responsibility for internal and external communications as well as the development of an in house media production unit. He previously served in the same position at the club from 2021 to 2023 before joining DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga as Director Communication. Earlier in his career, he led media and communications at 1. FC Köln.

Sascha Fligge joins DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga
Sascha Fligge will join DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga as Head of Corporate Communications, effective 1 May, where he will oversee Media & PR, Editorial/Content as well as CSR, Innovation and Internal Communications. He previously spent 14 years leading communications at a Bundesliga club.

Ronan Callaghan appointed Chief Financial Officer at Portsmouth Football Club
Portsmouth Football Club have appointed Ronan Callaghan as Chief Financial Officer. He joins from Wentworth Golf Club, where he served as Group Finance Director, and previously held the same role at Elite Hotels.

Johnny de Vries to depart Helmond Sport
Johnny de Vries will depart his role as Sales & Marketing Manager at Helmond Sport at the end of May. He joined the club in 2025 after serving as Senior Account Manager Partnerships at PSV and previously held commercial roles at FC Eindhoven and RKC Waalwijk.
