Marcel Friederich leaves DFL
Marcel Friederich has left the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga after nearly four years with the organization. Most recently, he served as Head of External Corporate Communications. Reflecting on his time with the DFL, Friederich expressed gratitude for the challenging topics he was able to manage and the many valuable connections he made. Previously, he worked for RB Leipzig and served as Editor-In-Chief of the basketball magazine BIG. While his next steps remain undecided, Friederich shared that he is eager for new challenges and the opportunities ahead.

Philipp Wunderlich named at RB Omiya Ardija
Philipp Wunderlich has been named Commercial Director at RB Omiya Ardija, the newly acquired club under the Red Bull ownership group. In his announcement, Wunderlich expressed excitement about being part of this historic venture, as the first-ever international club ownership in Japan. He brings extensive experience from roles at Red Bull, FC Bayern München, RB Leipzig, and Liverpool FC, specializing in marketing, partnerships, and business development.

Moritz Auer leaves FC Bayern Munich
Moritz Auer has left FC Bayern Munich after nearly 4.5 years with the German record champions. During his time at the club, Auer progressed from intern to Brand & Design Conceptionist within the Brand Strategy, Marketing, and Branding division. He contributed to notable projects, including designing campaigns for the first matches of FC Bayern womens team at the Allianz Arena, creating a pop-up store during the Audi Summer Tour in Tokyo, branding the locker room for the Champions League semifinal at the Santiago Bernabéu, and transforming the club’s visual identity into a modern digital playbook. Auer expressed gratitude to his colleagues and highlighted the professional and personal growth he achieved during his time at the club.
