Per Rud takes over at CD Mafra
Per Rud, director of the Danish Women’s Football Association (Kvindedivisionsforeningen), will become General Manager of Portuguese club CD Mafra starting in January 2025. Rud, who took over as director in July 2024 after serving on the board since 2019, will oversee Key Projects, including the development of Mafra’s new training facility. Previously, he played a crucial role in HB Køge’s success in women’s football, helping secure three league titles. Rud expressed mixed emotions about leaving but looks forward to leading Mafra’s ambitious project.

Todd Kline welcomed at Chelsea FC
Todd Kline has been appointed to Chelsea FC as President of Commercial, effective November 11. Formerly Chief Commercial Officer at Tottenham Hotspur, Kline brings extensive experience, including securing major sponsorship deals during roles with the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders. He replaces Tom Glick, who departed Chelsea last year after a brief tenure.

Fabien Caballero moves to OGC Nice
Fabien Caballero, formerly Deputy Director of Olympique Lyonnais’ Academy, has been appointed Head of Recruitment at OGC Nice. His move aligns with Sporting Director Florian Maurice’s strategy to emphasize player development within the club. Caballero had been overseeing Lyon’s academy operations since December, following Pierre Sage’s transition to the professional team.

Alexandra Currie joins Chelsea FC
Alexandra Currie has been appointed Lifestyle Director at Chelsea FC, overseeing retail operations, including merchandise, licensing, e-commerce, and physical stores. Currie joins from Farfetch, where she held various senior roles, most recently as Senior Director of Strategy, Project Management, and Delivery. Her eight years at Farfetch included leading global teams and launching digital solutions for luxury brands.

Marco Hofmann transitions to TSG Hoffenheim
Marco Hofmann has left FC Bayern Munich after over a decade to become Head of Brand Activation & Strategy at his hometown club, TSG Hoffenheim. During his 10 years and 11 months as Senior Partnership Relations Manager at Bayern, Hofmann played a key role in managing partnerships and driving major projects. At Hoffenheim, he will focus on strengthening the club’s brand and strategic initiatives.
