8.00-9.30 IntercityHotel Graz Exclusively for Speakers, Partners and VIP Guests | Workshop “Risk and reward: How football clubs can comply and lead with a solid sustainability strategy” When UEFA scrapped the away goals rule in their competitions, clubs across Europe had to approach knock-out games with a different strategy. Away from the pitch, the shifting regulatory landscape is forcing European organisations – including football clubs – to adapt their approach to environmental and social issues, particularly climate change strategy and disclosure. A handful of football clubs are leveraging the mood around climate change to their advantage, positioning themselves as advocates and capturing the imagination of partners and fans, creating opportunities for engagement and growth. In this workshop, sustainability and sport expert Matthew Campelli will explain these dynamics and reveal how – and why – football clubs should address this changing landscape with enthusiasm and a strategic eye. You can book this workshop separately as well. Get your workshop ticket here. |
10.00-12.30 skills.lab Graz Exclusively for Clubs, Leagues and Associations | Rights Holder Brunch A brunch available only to rights holders. Transfer from the IntercityHotel and back included. |
