Robert Holmes joins Burnley FC
Burnley FC has appointed Robert Holmes as the new Senior Manager for Ticketing and Hospitality to oversee and enhance fan and corporate engagement at their stadium, Turf Moor. Holmes will focus on streamlining ticketing processes, expanding hospitality services, and creating a seamless experience for matchgoers. This appointment aligns with Burnley’s ongoing commitment to fan service improvements and their strategic goals for audience growth and satisfaction in the Championship.
Simon Laager steps into FC Luzern
FC Luzern has appointed Simon Laager as their new CEO, effective December 1. Laager, formerly Managing Director of the SCL Tigers and founder of the sports marketing agency FairMatch, brings extensive experience, including a prior role with IMS Sport AG. Following the resignation of Stefan Wolf as of the end of 2024, FC Luzern has separated the roles of CEO and Chairman; the search for a new Chairman is ongoing, with Josef Bieri set to stand as interim president at the next general meeting. Simon Meier, interim CEO for the past three months, will hand over responsibilities as planned on December 1.
