Australian club Central Coast Mariners appoint Alyssar Narey as new CEO
The Central Coast Mariners have appointed Alyssar Narey as their new Chief Executive Officer – the first woman to hold the position in the club’s history. Her appointment follows an interim period under Adam Thomson. Chairman Richard Peil steps down from day-to-day management and Jordan Smith takes over as Executive Chairman. Narey, who previously worked for the Australian Professional Leagues (APL), is keen to develop the club’s connections with the community. The club sees her appointment as the start of an exciting new era.

Tobias Schmidt steps down after 4 years at RB Leipzig
Schmidt was most recently Head of International Communications at RB Leipzig. After 23 years working in football, Schmidt would like to take some time off to get fully recharged and ready to go in 2025. Prior to RB Leipzig, Schmidt worked for the DFL, FC Köln, FC Schalke and Twitter.

Måns Runsten Swärd is the new Performance Marketing Specialist at BK Häcken
Måns Runsten Swärd started as Performance Marketing Specialist at Swedish first division club BK Häcken in August. After many years of experience at companies in the marketing and social media industry, such as Republiken, Trickle, Happy Socks and EMG, Swärd is now venturing into the football industry to drive the club forward in these areas.
